After exploring the museum, join one of the expert distillery guides on a journey deep into the heart of the working Bundaberg Rum Distillery. Start by visiting the molasses well, which holds up to 5 million litres of molasses, fresh from our neighbours at the sugar mill across the road.

Then on to fermentation where you’ll get a sneak-peak into one of their fermentation tanks, before learning all about our double distillation process. Finally head on to the grand Barrel House where you’ll learn about how they age and mature the rum for a minimum of two years before our liquid makes it’s way into a bottle.

Once you’ve experienced the sights and smells of the distillery, you’ll return to the Bundaberg Rum Tasting Bar, where you can sample any of the top shelf rums from their range. Lastly Just around the corner is the iconic Bundaberg brewing co.

Sample every one of the brews through their fun and informative guided Tastings then select 6 of your favourites for a mix-it-yourself take home pack.

Take a self-guided walk through the Gallery to learn about how they craft and bottle brews including the iconic Bundaberg Ginger Beer.  You’ll play ‘guess the flavour’ with our smellography wall, learn more about the real ingredients used in the brews, unlock the secret to their great taste and see the brewery in action via our 360 degree cameras.

Browse their great range of merchandise to take home as a memento of your visit or the perfect gift.  Full range of Brews are also available for purchase.

By now you will no doubt be quite exhausted from a big week. Head back to Kacy’s to pack and take some time to relax. When everyone is ready it is just a short 1 hour flight back to Archerfield.
